Event: Parade of States

Description:
The Parade of States is an occasion for us to gather together as a PCAG family on Tuesday, October 11 (6:30), and at the same time, students are given a fun way to learn a bit about our great 50 states.

On the morning of October 11, students should bring their floats to the gym. There we will have tables set up with spots labeled for each state. Floats need to arrive before the night of the parade so they can be judged according to the criteria found on the rubric. The rubric, or scoring sheet, is located on the back of the information sheet sent home last week. At 6:30 everyone will have a chance to take a look at all of the projects. Around 6:45 we will begin the parade. Students will line up their floats and pull them around the gym. After the parade, the floats will go back to the tables and families can have a chance to fellowship and snack on some state-themed snacks.
